Vanessa Coates MCSP, ACPAT Cat A
Vanessa grew up on a farm in South Africa, A keen house rider, spending her childhood eventing and being part of the the pony club mounted games team. With every intention of pursuing a life working with horses, she 1st worked as an equine assistant in 1992, with her Aunt Winks Greene at the Natal Equine Rehabilitation Centre, in South Africa.
She decided to complete the BSc in Physiotherapy in the UK, while working with Winks in her holidays, the intention was to return to SA and work with Winks full time, but she met a Welshman! She completed her degree in 2002 and embarked on her junior and senior rotations in the Royal Gwent, Newport, before settling up a Private outpatient physiotherapy clinic with her Husband. She recently, finally realised her life long dream and qualified as a Veterinary Physiotherapist through Hartpury University, and is in the process of completing her MSc research module. Vanessa is just finishing setting up a Veterinary physiotherapy clinic that will run alongside her human clinic.
