The Ralph is the UK’s largest independent (non-corporate) multidisciplinary specialist referral centre in southeast England. We are looking for an ACPAT Cat A Physiotherapist to join our friendly, collaborative team as soon as possible. This is a permanent three-day-per-week position with an extra day to cover maternity leave for the next eleven months.
When you join us, the team will consist of one full-time ACPAT Cat A Physiotherapist, one part-time (two days per week) ACPAT Cat A Physiotherapist, (with a third ACPAT Cat A Physiotherapist (one day per week) on maternity leave), one full-time rehabilitation nurse and one full-time hydrotherapist.
You will have access to an extra-large “HydroPhysio” underwater treadmill, ceiling-mounted hoists in both our Hydrotherapy and Physiotherapy Treatment rooms, the full range of Walkin’ Wheels rear and quad carts for use with both our in and outpatients, a category 3b laser and a stance analyser among other equipment. You will treat a selection of inpatients referred internally via our multidisciplinary clinicians and outpatients referred from local veterinary practices. At The Ralph, you will work closely with Board-certified specialists (Diplomates) in all disciplines, including neurology, orthopaedics, emergency and critical care, anaesthesia and analgesia, internal medicine, cardiology, dentistry, oncology, ophthalmology, and soft tissue surgery.

ABOUT US……
The practice provides 70% equine, 25% rider and 5% small animal physiotherapy services. We work closely with approximately 10 equine veterinary practices and also take referrals from all over Yorkshire and the North. We have a rider physiotherapy studio with mechanical horse, visual feedback and Quintic software as well as Winback TECAR therapy. Currently the practice consists of 2 full time physiotherapists with part time office support.
VSP is innovative, forward thinking and progressive. The successful applicant will gain valuable experience from our close links and good relationships with outstanding veterinary practices as well as gaining from Vicky’s experience working as part of the Team GB equine physio team.
ABOUT YOU…….
We are looking for a motivated Category A member with both equine and canine interest and ideally with established human MSK skills. Must have own transport, be confident and a good communicator. Your list will cover equine home visits throughout Yorkshire and surrounding regions, as well as rider physiotherapy clinics (if suitable MSK experience), with occasional small animal clients. An initial training/acclimatisation period will be required where the Ellis Technique® will be taught and an ongoing mentoring/CPD programme will be implemented. Specific rider postural analysis training will be given if required.
This post would be ideal for either a newly upgraded – or soon to upgrade, Category A member looking to gain experience in a busy, established practice or an experienced Cat A. Negotiable hours – initially part time self-employed with potential to become full time and employed, some evening and weekend sessions may be required.

Canine Rehab Cardiff is looking for a highly motivated Veterinary Physiotherapist (ACPAT Category A member) with a passion for our canine clients to join our growing Small animal practice.
Canine Rehabilitation Limited is Cardiff’s newest veterinary rehabilitation and hydrotherapy centre based in the Birchgrove area of Cardiff
We offer high quality rehabilitation for small animals in our physiotherapy rehab area and the very latest high tech underwater treadmill
The position is on a self-employed, part-time basis. Hours and days are negotiable but ideally with capacity to cover 3 days a week including Saturdays.
This part-time role will include working independently and also alongside Denise Hayes Davies (owner/director) treating canine clients with physiotherapy and hydrotherapy
We deal with referrals from a range of first opinion and specialist veterinary practices.
Our cases vary from orthopaedic and neurological conditions, post op cases to chronic arthritic cases. We are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic and approachable person with a positive work ethic.
