Veterinary Physiotherapist Position Available at The Ralph Veterinary Referral Centre, UK
The Ralph is the UK’s largest independent (non-corporate) multidisciplinary specialist referral centre for dogs and cats in southeast England, with ~250 Ralphers. We are looking for an ACPAT Cat A Physiotherapist to join our friendly, collaborative team in a permanent position as soon as possible. Full-time would be ideal, but we are open to part-time applicants and to discussing different part-time working patterns.
When you join us, the team will consist of two part-time ACPAT Cat A Physiotherapists (with a third ACPAT Cat A Physiotherapist (one day per week) on maternity leave), one full-time rehabilitation nurse and one full-time and one part-time hydrotherapist.
You will have access to an extra-large HydroPhysio underwater treadmill, ceiling-mounted hoists in our Hydrotherapy and Physiotherapy Treatment rooms, the full range of Walkin’ Wheels rear and quad carts for use with both our in- and outpatients, a category 3b laser, and a stance analyser, among other equipment.
You will treat a selection of inpatients referred internally via our multidisciplinary clinicians and outpatients referred from local veterinary practices. At The Ralph, you will work closely with Board-certified specialists (Diplomates) in all disciplines, including neurology and neurosurgery, orthopaedics, emergency and critical care, anaesthesia and analgesia, internal medicine, cardiology, dentistry, oncology, ophthalmology, and soft tissue surgery.

Job Opportunity - Surrey/West Sussex - CHAPPS Physio

CHAPPS Physio is looking for an ACPAT Cat A Physio or second year Cat B who is close to qualifying.
We are looking for someone to work 3-4 days per week, and can be flexible on the working pattern, however there is potential for full time work for the right person. We are a busy physio practice, covering Surrey and West Sussex. The caseload is a mixture of horses, small animals and humans (mainly riders). We offer yard visits and home visits across Surrey and West Sussex, and we also have four practices in these areas from which we treat small animals and/or humans.
The candidate would be given use of our equipment, full equipment training and initial one to one supervision. The candidate will be well supported by two highly experienced ACPAT Cat A Physio’s, as well as having an opportunity to work as part of MDTs in our various clinics. We also have a friendly and supportive office manager who will work closely with you to provide full admin support (including management of the diary and referrals on your behalf).
Due to the supportive nature of this role, as well as the one to one training we would be able to provide prior to commencement of the position, we are able to accept applicants from all ACPAT Cat A and B members who may be interested. Confidence, reliability and good communication are essential for this job role as well as own transport. Ideally candidates will have established human MSK skills as well as both an equine and canine interest due to the mixed caseload.
