The Role
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Physiotherapist to come and
join our team on the island of Jersey! You will be based out of Archway Veterinary
Centre at our dedicated rehabilitation department as well as providing in house
physiotherapy for inpatients at our RCVS accredited hospital site. Our thriving rehab
department includes an underwater treadmill, K Laser and stance analysis and has a
varied caseload of small animal orthopaedics, spinals and geriatrics and we also
provide physio visits for equine patients. You will be expected to work alongside the
wider veterinary team to provide the highest standard of multidisciplinary care for our
clients but also be comfortable being sole charge of the department and managing
all admin, health and safety and maintenance tasks alongside patient care.

accredited small animal hospital in St Saviour, as well as a range of services
available at our Archway Veterinary Centre and Leodis Veterinary Surgery branches.

About You
We are looking for someone who is passionate about Veterinary Physiotherapy, is
confident in providing excellent standards of care to both patients and clients, and
someone who works well solo and as part of a multidisciplinary team. The ideal
candidate will be someone who is looking to build on our existing services and
continue developing the department.
● Required - Level 6 or Level 7 qualified (BSc, PGDip or MSc) in Veterinary
Physiotherapy
● Required - Membership with any of the following - IRVAP / NAVP / ACPAT /
RAMP
● Required - experience working with an underwater treadmill (additional
qualification in small animal hydrotherapy a bonus)
● Veterinary Nursing qualification useful but not essential
● Experience with varied small and large animal case load
● Comfortable working independently and being sole charge of the department,
including managing health and safety, risk assessments, & equipment
maintenance.
